NaBloPoMo 2010

Yep... you read right... NaBloPoMo. That's National Blog Posting Month. Didn't even know the thing existed but my wonderful friend, Marlana let me know about it and invited me to join with her friends to blog every day for the month of November. Yikes!  EVERY day? If you have read any of my earlier posts, you'll know I go in spurts - with LONG periods of silence and dry spells at times.  This is going to be interesting - and tough!

I better get started by catching up with the all of the daily topics so far this month.  Here's my quick run down - slash - summary so far:

(Nov1) I have no idea what my calling in life is or was. I thought I knew at one time but life got in the way. I heard a saying long ago that I've kept close to my heart... "I have spent my life stringing and unstringing my instrument, but the song remains unsung." I've loved my life and the people in it (good and bad) but always wondered if I missed something out of selfishness or just not being aware of what was passing me by...

(Nov2) If I opened a restaurant it would be closed in a week as I have no clue how to run one! I can sell hot dogs as a street vendor and sold lemonade as a kid but I'd be clueless as a restaurant owner (and besides, guys like Gordon Ramsey kinda scare the bejezzus out of me).

(Nov3) I really wish I could be more like the amazing people I call friends. They challenge me to love deeper, live stronger, and dream bigger every day. I can never thank God enough for some of the amazing people I've been blessed to call friends and family.  My life would NOT be the same without each and every one of them contributing a piece of their heart to make mine full and complete.

...and for today, (Nov4), "my life predictions for 2011"... I'm still working on 2010 and all that it holds... guess I better hurry since it's almost over! My biggest prediction? My nachos will be done in 3... 2... 1... >ding!< Hey, I got one right!!

Who knows... maybe this will be good for me. I'll let y'all decide... ;^)
